Holden is almost 3 months old and I have been back at work for 2 weeks now. Its time to start losing the rest of the baby weight. We have been trying to pinch pennies now that we have daycare expenses so a gym membership is not in the cards for a while. So, I'm going to have to be creative in my exercise routine. I have found a few at home workout routines online and picked up a mom and baby fitness dvd. I think it will be a slow start since I used my pregnancy as an excuse to stop working out and then ended up on bedrest. The weather is nice and we have daylight until around 8 so no excuses. Maybe I can even get hubs to walk with us.

Why can't the weight come off as easily as it goes on? Ugh. I'm in the same boat. 6 weeks to starting work again and the need to fit into my work clothes!
Stacey's sister here. I'm in the same boat - I'll be returning to work in about 2 months, to a new position that requires me to fit back in to my more professional, suit-type attire. Yikes, I have no idea how I'm going to do it! With my first baby, I didn't lose the rest of my baby weight until he was about a year and a half old! And that was because we caved and bought a treadmill - I would walk/jog at night after he went to sleep. I found evening to be the best time to work out - I just can't drag myself out of bed extra early in the morning to work out!
One thing I highly recommend is keeping a journal of the calories you eat every day. It really, really helps. Websites like calorieking.com can help you figure out how many calories you are consuming.
Good luck!
I use mydailyplate.com for calorie counting and we have an elliptical at home. I too can't do early morning workouts so evening it has to be. I just have to make sure the comfy couch doesn't call my name. Good luck to you both, unfortunately I was told even once I lose it my cloths might still not fit right because of stretching out and redistribution of weight. We will see.
